Alice In Chains Drug Bust

You would think of all people, anyone from ALICE IN CHAINS would wake the F*&k up and realize heroin might not be a good idea. Below is a story about Mike Starr that was just made public. I guess Celebrity Rehab just couldn't get the job done. Why the hell does anyone watch that show? A bunch of aging has been's complaining about how hard life is while struggling with an addiction they brought upon themselves? That's every Friday night at the local bar down the block from my old house. Addiction Sucks. I struggled for years on the thin line between helping friends with a serious problem, and turning my back on them because it became a waste of time. When do you determine that you can't help? What makes you think you still can? What I never liked is how people look at drug addicts as lower forms of life. They are people just like you and I, except they made some terrible mistakes. Bad decisions. Doesnt make them bad people. I'd rather help a drug addict than a murderer. Sometimes though, enough is enough. Mike Starr, clean the F*#K man

Former Alice in Chains bassist Mike Starr isn't having a very good week. For one thing his former band has regrouped and just released a critically acclaimed comeback album without him and now we learn that he was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles last week on a drug charge. It sounds like a good thing he'll be part of the next Celebrity Rehab.
Blabbermouth reported over the weekend: Starr is currently being held at the Bauchet Street Jail in downtown L.A.. His bail is set at $100,000 and he is due for arraignment at the Pasadena Superior court on October 14.

Earlier this year, Starr was selected as a cast member for the third season of the VH1 reality series "Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew". Hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky, the season will consist of eight episodes that follow the real-life experiences of celebrity patients undergoing detoxification and treatment at the Pasadena Recovery Center.
