NEW LINKIN PARK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I thought this was cool. The video you see below isn't the one the article is referring to. It's just the song but if you want to see the full video, just check out the link below. It's pretty cool

Linkin Park has released a special video for “Not Alone,” the song they wrote and recorded for Download To Donate For Haiti. The video features studio performance footage interspersed with stark images of the devastation in Haiti and can be seen at myspacemusic.com. Launched by Music For Relief, a non-profit founded by Linkin Park, Download To Donate For Haiti provides fans with the opportunity to download a collection of exclusive songs by their favorite artists and then donate funds on a purely voluntary basis. Each download is a donation. Fans can download the unreleased songs at musicforrelief.org and via the websites of each participating artist. Jack Johnson, Weezer, The Crystal Method and Metric are among the latest artists to donate never-before-released songs to the cause.

Happy Birthday Taylor Hawkins

In honor of the Foo Fighters member turning just one year older, I'll post this in his honor tonight. Always thought this was a kick ass, underrated cover of an old John Rafferty song

A Drawing to Meet Alice In Chains

Yo check this out my brothers and sisters

Alice In Chains' video for their current single "Your Decision" has plenty of genre elements to it and has generated some controversy what with its debauchery-filled similarities to Eyes Wide Shut and Hostel: Part II. Things are left open-ended, however, and now comes a "Your Decision" comic that picks up where the video leaves off with fans helping to determine how the story ends.

AIC has teamed up with PopCult and Devil's Due Publishing for a contest that gives you the chance to add your own chapter to the storyline depicted in the video. The master storyboard and opening chapter found below set the tone. But first, here's the video of "Your Decision" off AIC's Black Gives Way to Blue album in case you haven't seen it yet.

Uploaded by dreadcentral. - Explore more music videos.

Fans are challenged to post suggestions for what they think should happen in the next chapter (in 150 words or less). Once approved, all new chapter posts will be viewable to the public. They can be read, commented on, and "liked" by other users. At each chapter stage the submission with the most "likes" will be the winner. If you decide to participate, be sure to post your submissions via Facebook and Twitter to pull extra votes.

Each winning submission will be elevated to the master storyboard and guide the path the story takes next. Winning entrants will see their chapters illustrated by PopCult/Devil's Due and immortalized into the "Your Decision" comic book. And the Grand Prize for best entry includes a flyaway trip for two to New York to see Alice in Chains play a sold-out show at Terminal 5 on March 9th, two nights' accommodations, and the chance to meet the band. The four runners-up will get a limited edition illustrated "Your Decision" comic lithograph signed by Alice In Chains.

It's Been A While

Wow a little snow on the ground and the next thing you know, 10 days have past since your last blog entry. Sorry. No excuses I just got lazy as hell. I'm also a little depressed after waking up today and realizing there is not only no more football on for SEVEN MONTHS, but since it's Valentines Day, watching the Giants has been replaced with watching Giant wastes of 90 minutes. All weekend. J Lo, Britney Spears, Debra Messing, Reese Witherspoon and her pointy chin, and every bad actress are crying, bitching, and complaining on my T. V. about their broken heart, Whah. My heart was broken when the Colts stomped all over the Jets in the AFC championship game and Brad Pitt didn't show up in the end to make everything allright. Valentines Day is a total sham so I put together a little list of songs to make the day go by a little faster, a little easier, and with a LOT less estrogen

This Love- Pantera
Figured You Out- Nickleback
She Hates Me- Puddle Of Muddle
Miserable- Lit
Crazy Bitch- Buckcherry
Used To Love Her- Guns and Roses
Keep Away- Godsmack
Dont Go Away Mad- Motley Crue

Happy Valentines Day to everone. I'll see you on St Patricks Day at the Dubliner

NEW Alice In Chains Interview

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!! A new Chains inteview below from the Grammy's

Offspring: Not THE Offspring, others bands offspring

Frances Bean Cobain is making her singing debut with My Chemical Romance lead singer Gerard Way. Frances Bean is the 17 year old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love and considering the genetics she's had to work with is surprisingly cute although she is a minor and I feel creepy for even calling her cute. Anyway, it got me thinking about other famous rock star offspring and I wondered if ANYONE lived up to their parents footsteps. There was the Wallflowers featuring Bob Dylans son Jakob on vocals. They had a few hits and even once has Bruce Springsteen as their bus driver for shows around Central Jersey but they phased out pretty quickly. You had the Kelly Osbourne debacle where she covered Madonna's Papa Don't Preach with Incubus backing her up. That led to the butchering of one of my all time favorite Black Sabbath songs, Changes. There was also a late 90's band called Deadsy which was fronted by the son of Greg Allman and Cher. Talk about bad genetics? I wish Frances Bean. Her mom may be a fuck up but she was a damn good front woman and Kurt, well some would say he made history

We Really Are The World

All of the benefits and donations to the Haiti earthquake situation has sparked a ton of controversy in the U. S. There really is no right answer to weather now is the the time for America to aiding other nations while their own is such dire straits. It's a Head vs Heart thing and the only answer is that their are two answers. Well bands like Weezer, The Donna's and Ween (holy fuck do you remember them?) are getting behind a cause I HOPE doesn't raise nearly the same amount of questions as the haiti benefits are raising.

For a minimum donation of .99 cents each, you can get rare and unreleased songs featuring a whole bunch of bands and ALL proceeds go to TargetCancer. TargetCancer is a non profit group dedicated to finding cures for rare but equally as dangerous forms of cancer. The group was founded by Boston lawyer Paul Poth who's passion for music led to one of the worlds most diverse CD collections ranging from classical to death metal. When Paul was 38, he was diagnosed with hepatobiliary duct cancer. Yeah I never heard of it and neither did his doctors. Paul Poth was a determined man and even though he passed away two years later at the age of 40, his foundation will be his legacy as the fight rages on, and an army of generous artists have donated music to take cancer down. below is the website where you can get your rare songs for a donation and a track listing of what's available. Lets help kick cancers ass

Weezer- "The Rat Race"
Ween - "DC Won't Do You No Good"
The Donnas- "Can't Keep It a Secret"
Cowboy Junkies- "In My Time of Need" (Ryan Adams cover)
Dean and Britta- "International Velvet Theme" (Caledonia Mix)
Buffalo Tom- "Thrown" (Live From Somerville Theater)
Linda Thompson- "Never the Bride"
Mike Viola- "This is Love, This is Life"
Drug Rug- "Coffee In the Morning" (Alternate Version)
The Gravel Pit- "Yellow Light Purple"
Happy Ending- "Through Your Eyes"

Greatest Song You Never Heard: Faith No More - A Small Victory

Faith No More were always too weird to be HUGE, but they were pretty big for a while. Do you remember MTV's Buzz Cuts? This is one of my favorites. You can find this song on 1991's Angel Dust Album, featuring a white dove on the cover. I hope you like this the way I do

Nailin' the Grammy Awards

I'm not a big fan of the Grammy Awards. The though of a group of suits choosing what album, song, and singer are better than other albums, songs, and singers? Better than what? Says WHO? I do like the live performances but the Grammy's have been featuring more of the manufactured garbage I can't stand. WE pick the greatest songs, the greatest albums, the greatest singers. Nine Inch Nails Trent Reznor feels similar and the best part of all of this? It looks like Trent is working on a new album. You think he cares if the new stuff wins a Grammy?

Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor had this to say on his Twitter account this past weekend: "Grammy asshole weekend in LA. Yuck... The Grammys = the old guard / old media propping up their puppets trying to convince the outside world (and each other) they're relevant." But was back to business on Monday when he told fans "1st official day of work in the studio."
