The greatest song you never heard : MOTHER LOVE BONE

Andrew Wood was a legend. I never thought so but his peers did. Eddie Vedder, Chris Cornell, Layne Staley, Kevin Martin, Stone Gossard, Mike McCreedy. Andrew Wood never got see the release of his album on a major label. He never knew success. He wasted his life away on heroin. When he left, his peers mourned. His band members and friends wrote songs about him and formed bands to honor him. Temple of The Dog was a band formed to pay tribute to Would. Their song Say Hello To Heaven along with Candlebox's Far Behind and the Alice In Chains classic WOULD? were all written about him. When Pearl Jam closed the Philly Spectrum for good, they made sure Wood be be remembered that night and cemented him in yet another piece of history. The video is Pearl Jam doing the Mother Love Bone (WOOD'S BAND)classic CROWN OF THORNS. RIP ANDREW
